I don’t like my writing. I’m not an English person. It just doesn’t click in my head. I’m not good at spelling and I certainly can’t spout out different grammar rules. In fact, I’m sure if you went through this writing you could find more than a few mistakes. I’m hoping that through writing in my FYS that I can build a more positive relationship with writing, Maybe even picking up on a few more grammar rules as I go. I want to learn to enjoy writing, but in high school I would avoid writing assignments like the plague. If there was any other option I would take it. Maybe doing some more informal writing in this class can help me learn to love and appreciate both writing in general, and my own writing.
